Hot Tub & Seasonal Pool
Goats & Baby Chicks
Wake to farm life and Mt. Baker views at our peaceful Bellingham farm stay.
Soak in the year‑round hot tub, enjoy the seasonal pool, and say hello to baby chicks and friendly goats.
Your upstairs room has a private stair entry (no need to walk through the common areas) and a comfy queen sleigh bed.
The split bathroom—tub/shower with heated towel rack in one room, toilet/sink in the other—has a locking divider and is shared only with our very quiet night‑shift nurse; you two have the whole upstairs.

Guest access
You’re welcome to roam the property and enjoy fruit you find—just please don’t pick it all to share off‑site (yes, this has happened!). Please close all gates behind you. For safety, do not enter any outbuildings or the goat area.
During your stay
We’re friendly and relaxed — happy to greet you and then follow your lead on conversation.
I love showing guests the baby chicks, adult chickens, and goats — just ask!
Our household has four adults: your hosts, Jamie and Suzanne, plus two long‑term housemates — a night‑shift nurse and an engineer — both considerate and lovely to share space with.
Other things to note
We can host 2 guests for short stays (up to 5 nights) for an extra $45/night. Message before booking and I’ll update the listing to allow two guests.
No cleaning fee. Please tidy your own space; common areas are professionally cleaned weekly. Shared bathroom expectation is “leave no trace.”
Area highlights
Outdoor paradise: Mt. Baker (top snowboarding, summer hikes), San Juan Islands, Bellingham Bay for sea kayaking, plus lakes, rivers, parks, and forests.
Seattle and Vancouver, BC are each under 2 hours — easy day trips.
Practical notes
Pool is seasonal (typically May–Fall). Hot tub year‑round.
Uber and DoorDash serve the area.
We’re in the county — no streetlights, so it’s dark at night. Bring a flashlight if you want to take an evening walk.
Guest Reviews
“This was one of the nicest Airbnb experiences I’ve had. I felt so welcome, comfortable and at home. All of Suzanne's communication before hand would have made for a seamless arrival had she not been onsite to orientate me (which she was!). She is such lovely person, I enjoyed our chats and all the introductions to the other "residents" both 2 legged (day old chicks) & 4 legged (dogs, cats & the friendliest goats ever!!) The bedroom was cozy and very nicely appointed. The shared bathroom was perfect and clean. The yard/gardens are delightful, as is the view of Mount Baker!! This truly is a special place. I really hope that there’s availability here if I return again next year . . . and the next . . . and the next . . . (fingers crossed!!)”

The description is accurate and there are ample instructions provided to make the stay a smooth one. I hope everyone staying here feels the same Bellingham magic I've come to love!”
— Will, May '26“This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. I felt so comfortable and at home, and I only stayed one night. The animals were so sweet and Suzanne and her husband are such lovely people. I enjoyed talking with them and Avi. He was very welcoming and full of ideas of what to do in the area, as well. I’m going through something difficult and Suzanne offered some perspective, which has been so helpful. She is such a kind, caring person. The bedroom was cozy and the curtains made it nice and dark at night. The shared bathroom was perfect and clean. I didn’t get to meet Melinda, but she was very quiet. And I’m a light sleeper! The whole property is beautiful and you can see Mount Baker from the kitchen. There is a lot to do in the area, as well. This is a special place.”
