Dahlia Identification Tags

I’ve been working on making permanent identification tags for my dahlias and as I got my new logo today, I could finalize my design.

Love love love my new logo from Imelda Green’s.

I’ll make a set of these for myself and use them to plan out what I will plant where. It’s a lot easier for me to shuffle tags around on a table than it is to use the names on a list. I need to see the bloom as I sort out who will get planted next to whom. I also want the plant height and bloom size on the front, so I can plan with that info in mind.

After planting, I can attach each tag to a clothespin and clip it to the plant, making it easy to keep track of who is who; in the fall I can transfer the tag to the clump and from there to the storage bag.

What do you think? Would these be useful to you?

UPDATE: I have started making them and they are available in the store:
