These are black chicks from my Ermine Ameraucana pens which lay the bluest eggs on the farm. Ermines hatch black, white, and black and white. These are the blacks from those hatches, not to be confused with black from BBS lines.

One-hundred percent of my flock comes from hatching eggs sent from Becky Pelton, the woman that created the breed. The eggs are hard to come by; the most recent round was requested in October of 2024 and are on their way at last, here in April of 2026.
